Oklahoma Couples Plan Walk Down Wal-Mart Aisle

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Two Oklahoma couples plan to walk down the aisle -- literally.

The two couples plan to exchange wedding vows next month at their local Wal-Mart store.

Candace P. and Matthew C. of Gore and Debra R. and Oliver R. of Oklahoma City were among seven couples who won a recent promotion by the retail giant.

The promotion targets the most sought-after wedding date of the year -- July 7th, 2007.

The lawn and garden centers probably make a lovely display of artificiality, but why not add imitation stained glass windows in the holy franchise church of consumerism.
Very clever of Wal Mart to assimilate the superstitions of people who find positive religious significance in numbers like 7-7-07 as opposed to 6-6-06.
Wal Mart approves of GOD, thank goodness, and why shouldn't they? For all intensive purposes, They are GOD and we are all gleefully living in the fucking dark ages.
