I can see it turning desperate every time police helicopters fly by or when I see two kids pushing a shopping cart full of scrap metal down a busy street with no sidewalk. I hear about break-ins with front doors kicked in or televisions stolen as neighborhoods begin to disintegrate.
There is an uprising unfolding - not an organized uprising but a chaotic one fueled by despair as what's left of the American Dream withers & rots. This revolution will be fought in the courts.
People are suckers to have ever believed in the dream anyway.
