To be Perfectly Clear

I have to start today with a quote:

"A free state cannot exist, our free state of the United States collectively, cannot exist without the right of the people to defend themselves." - Former Idaho Senator Larry Craig

Ah, but how do you defend yourself when you are essentially, in your own mind, a Thought Criminal? What the hell is freedom to such a man? Where does he get the nerve to treat such a powerful concept only as a mere charade to pay lip service?

Where was your Voice, Senator? The most powerful weapon you will ever have, in a forum of incredible & immeasurable influence & you were too fucking dumb to even use it. What the hell good is a goddamned Senator who never used his voice? It defies the whole point of the fucking Senate - not to mention any vaunted yet hollow concepts of freedom.
A starting point for discussion might have been the simple understanding that the nature of human sexuality is not a belief or a philosophy despite what all those former friends & colleagues so loudly & relentlessly claim.

Well, tough shit now.

Let Senator Craig's example serve as warning to all the other gay Republicans out there - no closet is big enough to hide you. The police know all of your code words & secret gestures and they are coming to get you. They will punish you as cruelly as you can imagine by exposing you to the light of day when they catch you.

Run & hide, little church mice.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I really like the "no closet is big enough to hide you..." This is the same situation as that guy from "JESUS CAMP." It is amazing that people will claim and defend conservatisim when it doesn't claim and defend them!

I need to see Jesus Camp. Christ knows I'm not irritated enough.

Well, I am quite the documentary nerd lately. "The Corporation" and "Why We Fight" are wonderful, but I am still not quite over the impact of seeing them...
