Chicken or the Egg

Yearn and urine. I know at last which came first in terms of acceptance to the English language.
Earlier tonight I watched Ken Burns' series on The Dust Bowl and the idea sprung upon me from an interviewed survivor.
Yearned and Urinated. The suffix syllabic count proved the vitality of wanting someone or something over the urge to do what must be done - though I must open the floor for debate about being so dry from a drought that urinating feels like a luxury.
On second thought, I left 'urn' completely out of consideration.
This may be a flawed study.....
