Is it understood that when the police helicopters are circling overhead at night that everyone must stay indoors? I find I am reluctant to look out my windows - that any movement on my part might be misunderstood as furtive or complicit to some sweaty drug addict fleeing squad cars with rocks in his pocket.
Here I am living in Fortress America & I have become as terrified of my neighbors as I am of the police.
How close will the roiling wilderness encroach upon the gated communities?
