Why the sudden vehemence towards muslims nine years after the September 11th attacks? George Bush managed to keep this emotional flatulence in line, why can't Obama?
Simple. There's no reason to pretend otherwise anymore for a segment of our society steeped in a rich history of divide-and-conquer wedge issues.
Why else the delay? Today marks nine fucking years after all. What else kept them holding back so long?
Burning qur'ans and proclaiming the World Trade Center site to be hallowed ground as if something holy happened there are nothing more than political stunts aimed at capitalizing on manufactured rumors about the President's religious faith actually being islamic.
I have to wonder how many of these suddenly inflamed anti-islamists know they are political operatives doing what Donald Segretti famously termed "ratfucking". Too bad for them it doesn't pay as well as it does for the puppet masters pulling their strings. Oh well, what's a little more anger added to a prefabricated and incendiary "crisis"?
