Back by Popular Demand!

Well no, not really, but as a friend pointed out yesterday, I have slacked off on the 30 Seconds. Sorry about that. I forget that not everything on the internet relates to pornography and that some people actually read stuff - even when the pornography is infinitely more substantial and satisfying. Sadly, writing about politics reminds me of that all the time.
Take for instance, Democratic House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer bitching about Stephen Colbert's testimony before Congress last week:


Fuck Hoyer. I am sick of the self-importance of our representatives as they continue to massively fail the people they represent. For any of them to complain how a comedian can make fun at their expense completely overlooks and exposes the lack of self-awareness of their own mockery of the institution they claim to hold as so sacred.
