Bridge Collapse & More

Just a few thoughts before 30 Seconds goes into storage. I can't actually promise now is when it gets put up; there are still six days before we pick up our moving truck. I guess I'm saying that I could be using the time between now & then a little more wisely, which I'm not likely to do. I suppose I could do worse though. Anyway...

I'm still waiting to hear the vigorous defense against carpooling after yesterday's I-35 bridge collapse; "Just think how many more people would have been killed if that bridge had been backed up with bus loads of commuters rather than single SUV drivers because of fuel conservation forced on us by Liberals... This just goes to show that mass-transit equals mass murder when our infrastructure starts falling apart."

Speaking of cars, the best bumper sticker I have ever seen yet; Never Thought I Would Miss Nixon. Kevin & I absolutely cracked up.

I'm thinking about cooking some huge vat of something to just graze on out of the ice box for the next few days. We've gnawed at beans and rice for about a week now somewhat sporadically but the supply has definitely dwindled. Problem is, I am not hungry for anything. I don't want to screw around with eating right now. I want my well balanced meals in capsule form until this damn move is over.
It would be so refreshing to complain about the inconvenience of taking pills instead of eating for a change.

Whatever...
