Eleven of Twelve

So starts November. It's past midnight and I am still eating Halloween candy. It's been a good day though; thanks to a friend I have not yet met, I have a job as a teaching assistant lined up for the new year. I've been buzzing about it since late afternoon, even before I started binging on the candy. I haven't collected a pay check in over ten years and I cannot describe how good it feels to be coming out of this rut - a rut filled with several strenuous moves, raising a child and finishing college.

Today was a good day.
