Bocephus

I suppose when you have spent your entire life being compared to your legendary father, the concept of comparison begins to lose any real meaning - particularly in little matters like talent and musical ability. To put it more simply, there is no comparison between Hank Sr and Hank Jr and yet they are both Hank Williams and comparisons remain inevitable.
Hank Jr is like some good ol' boy redneck caricature who yells upon his arrival at every bar on the nightly bar-hop. The sort of raucous asshole who makes it embarrassing to like football.
Hank Sr wrote songs and sang in a way that could make you cry.
Really there's no comparison between the two of them.

Anyway for Junior to compare President Obama to Hitler on a Fox News show this morning reminded me how anyone can compare a Cadillac to a chicken's ass but it's another matter entirely to explain exactly what that might mean. Personally I don't care if Junior hates Obama - I don't like him very much either, but his sense of comparison is completely off and his comment shouldn't be taken too seriously. Ironically I used to defend George Bush Jr. when liberals would compare him to Hitler. It wasn't much of a defense; reminding them that Hitler was a highly decorated war hero who cherished art & culture and was actually democratically elected into power while Bush wasn't.
I just don't abide such gross inaccuracies.
